What documents are needed to obtain a visa to Spain

A visa is a document on the basis of which it is possible to legally stay in Spain or any other Schengen country for a certain period of time.

General requirements for documents

The application form must be completed in English or Spanish only. The validity of the passport at the time of visa issuance must be at least 3 months.

The list of documents required to obtain a visa to Spain includes:

• Financial guarantees. You can provide a certificate of employment, a copy of the company's registration certificate and a copy of the TIN. 

In addition, a foreign citizen needs to confirm that he has enough money. For each day of the trip, the account must be 113 euros per person, but not less than 1020 euros for each of the travelers for the entire period of stay in Spain.

As confirmation, you can take a bank account statement: it will reflect all account movements for the last 3 months.

Visa Application Form

The application form for a visa to Spain contains all the necessary information about the applicant and allows you to confirm the reliability of the citizen. It consists of 4 pages and contains 37 items.

You can fill out the questionnaire in electronic format or by hand.  Handwritten filling requires legible handwriting, it is better to enter information in block letters.
